Description
A Senior Engineer with Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) will lead a team or work on a team to complete engineering tasks and create custom engineering solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving industry. An ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills while excelling in a team-based environment. The candidate should approach all tasks in a detail-oriented manner, with a strong sense of ownership over all deliverables. Key Responsibilities
- Creating and reviewing Protection & Control settings designs
- Coordination studies
- Short circuit studies using short circuit models
- Event Analysis
- Creating and reviewing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) settings
- Creating and reviewing RTU settings designs
- Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs
- Reviewing current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements
- Leading, planning, and coordinating projects with limited supervision
- Understanding and delivering results based on client-specific standards and requirements
- Training and developing junior personnel
- Leading project teams and interfacing with the customer to deliver a quality product by the scheduled delivery date
- Field support including troubleshooting, testing, and setup
- Act as the OE (Owner’s Engineer) responsible for reviewing designs and supplying the design team with the requested information to complete a project
