Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAM programming and experience with milling machines. This role requires proficiency in CAD, along with a solid understanding of quality control processes. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines using CAM software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create detailed part designs and specifications in CAD.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that finished products meet required specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues related to CNC operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all programming changes and updates.
- Work closely with machine operators to ensure smooth production flow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize knowledge of mechanical systems and logic controllers, including Fanuc systems, to enhance programming efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAM programming software and familiarity with milling machines.
- Strong understanding of CAD, and quality control practices.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience working with Fanuc logic controllers is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
