OVERVIEW
The Sr. Manager, Supply Planning ensures the timely supply of finished goods to meet customer requirements for consumer products across our network. This position leads a team of managers and planners in the execution of our supply chain policies and network strategy. Responsibilities include inventory rightsizing policies; addressing capacity trade-offs; execution of action plans with Operations, Distribution, and Procurement; executive reporting on service exceptions and state of the business, and play a leading role in the S&OP process. Provide support to Sales on business growth, capacity assessment, and opportunities for improved profitability. Supports Operations and the overall business by providing a long-term view of capacity and inventory requirements. This position plays a leadership role in implementing a vision of supply chain agility and collaboration while driving alignment with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service and Procurement.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of regional managers, planning managers and planners.
- Collaborate with the Sr Demand Planning Manager in the development of a mid / long term game plan
- Lead the Supply Phase of S&OP Process. Identify capacity constraints or risks, provide recommendations to close gaps and coordinate cross-functional execution
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the S&OP cadence, eliminating non-value-added activities and maintaining focus on a results-oriented approach.
- Oversees inventory policies across distribution centers. Drive inventory optimization while maximizing customer service.
- Support supply chain leadership in the development of the Annual Operating Plan.
- Co-own service, inventory strategy and operating costs with Distribution to resolve gaps. Provide logistics requirement estimates for warehousing and freight operations. Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics to attain replenishment plans and execution across distribution centers while optimizing freight cost.
- In support of the Supply Chain strategy, identify opportunities for continuous improvement as well as conceive and execute resulting projects. Quarterly / Yearly review of network capacity and execution to drive effectiveness of go-to-market strategy adjusting to business trends and dynamics

LOCATION OF ROLE
SALARY PAY RANGE : $116,000-216,500 plus bonus
The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on the candidates qualifications and prior experience.
