About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sugar Production Team Lead to direct sugar production operations on shift, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices and safe operating procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial food manufacturing/production and supervising union employees. Experience with computer, PLC programming, mechanical troubleshooting, and management supervisory skills is preferred.
- Directing teams of specialized union employees to meet or exceed production targets, quality standards, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Conducting safety audits and ensuring that all safety requirements are met.
- Providing guidance to workers in adjusting, repairing, and maintaining machines and equipment, which fail to meet standards.
