ASR is seeking an experienced Process/ Industrial Engineer for an exciting opportunity supporting the US Air Forces 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ. The Process Engineer will be part of ASR’s team providing support for aerospace storage and preservation, aircraft parts reclamation, aircraft regeneration, depot-level maintenance overflow, and aircraft disposal. ASR’s team of engineering professionals will provide detailed knowledge of process and facility engineering standards, concepts, and practices to assist the government with identifying, defining, validating, and implementing processes for technical requirements.

Responsibilities
- The Process/Industrial Engineer shall provide engineering services at AMARG including technical advice and expertise on the function of the “production machine”.
- Advise government leadership on design, analysis, improvement, and monitoring of the production machine including design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to achieve maximal efficiency. This shall include performing research, analysis, and documentation of industrial processes to produce detailed process instructions (i.e. a process order) that conforms to the standards of AFSCMAN 21-102.
- Provide On the Job Training (OJT) to government employees, as requested by the GR.
- Provide quality engineering services IAW all applicable Department of the Air Force Instructions (DAFI), manuals, and technical data.
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing or other engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the engineering field.
- Experience and ability to conduct the research and analysis necessary to produce detailed instructions on industrial processes.
- Possess a “SECRET” security clearance. All contractor engineers shall possess a minimum of journeyman level of experience.
- Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, among others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check.
