Overview:
The Associate Research Analyst will serve as a subject matter analyst for the various complex mission critical systems supporting 22 SOPS and is responsible for providing 24/7/365 coverage on the Mission Impact Report (MIR) Analysis Team (MAT).
Duties:
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails
- Provide support to 22 SOPS Leadership and Satellite Control Network (SCN) user community
- Perform research, collection and collation of the results of Mission Impact Reports
- Perform data integrity/quality collection and analysis within the SCN database
- Evaluate and interpret analytical findings of system reports
- Provide trending and analysis on issues affecting the SCN
- Assess communications and support issues impacting mission essential command and control systems.
- Devise, communicate, and implement analysis methodologies and procedures to assist in the resolution of problems.
- Ensure service is performed in conformance with standards and procedures, act as liaison with government and ancillary contractors regarding problem resolution and perform status briefing as required.
- Recommend and develop procedures and instructions that enhance performance, services and data accuracy.
- Provide meeting support and user briefings.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Must be available to work shift work as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and zero to two years of related experience are required.
- Air Force Database experience (MPR Database, IMDS, ROADS, DCC, etc) highly desired.
- Previous SCN experience highly desired.
- Ability to obtain IAT Level 2 certification within 12 months
- Current DOD Secret Clearance with future upgrade to Top Secret Clearance required. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
