What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boiler Operator position at ASRC Federal?
SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for Boiler Operator.

Requirements:
Must possess three (3) years’ experience in boiler operation and maintenance.
High School diploma/GED preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to push, pull and/or lift 70 lbs.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Shall provide operation, maintenance and repair of steam and hot water boilers with a capacity of 10.5 MMBTU/HR.
Perform work on steam boiler safety devices. i.e., Main steam safeties, low and high-water shutdown switches, and applicable safety codes.
Analyze and apply chemical treatment for boiler feedwater and air conditioning cooling towers.
Perform routine work and identified projects
Maintain daily boiler logs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
