Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of engineering plans for ground and space systems, addressing current operational needs and integrating future advancements.
Provide technical oversight for network operations, ensuring adherence to system-level agreements and compliance with performance benchmarks.
Oversee risk assessments, identifying technical vulnerabilities, and implementing effective mitigations.
Manage configuration control processes to ensure consistency, reliability, and lifecycle optimization across systems.
Lead technical responses to system challenges, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve mission success.
Drive the adoption of advanced and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 10 years of experience leading systems engineering efforts for large-scale programs.
Expertise in managing complex networks and ground systems for space operations.
Familiarity with risk management methodologies and lifecycle optimization strategies.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to TS SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent.
Experience with advanced communication and navigation systems, including integration of emerging technologies.
Knowledge of space geodetic systems or related high-precision infrastructure.
