What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Solution Architect position at ASRC Federal?
ASRC Federal is currently seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to work on-site in anticipation of upcoming work in Tacoma, WA.
The Cloud Solution Architect shall perform the following:
Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise infrastructure and platforms to support cloud computing needs.
Developing cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals, including selecting appropriate cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions.
Ensuring secure integration of cloud systems with existing applications, maintaining data integrity and compliance with security protocols.
Performing cost analysis and optimization for cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
Monitoring cloud systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, addressing any issues proactively.
Leading the migration of legacy systems to the cloud while minimizing disruptions.
Staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies and recommending improvements to existing architectures.
Requirements
7-10 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and AWSgov Cloud.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
Must be a US citizen to obtain/maintain a Public Trust; must successfully pass a government issued background investigation.
Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, if required.
Strong background in software development, web technologies, and database design, with several years of experience in the field.
Proficient in Node.js, Python, Angular, DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
Experience in automating containerized microservices deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in security designs, requirements, testing, and risk mitigation.
Proficient in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS services.
Experience in architecting and delivering cloud-based solutions.
Salary : $145,881 - $248,036
