Cyber Security Manager

ASRC Federal is seeking a Security Manager – Complex Space Networks This role is located in the Beltsville, MD area. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies. Oversee incident response protocols, penetration tests, and security audits to maintain system integrity. Implement robust access controls, data protection measures, and security protocols for high-risk infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to integrate security best practices into system development and operations. Proactively manage cybersecurity risks and address vulnerabilities to ensure mission continuity. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related technical field (Masters preferred). At least 8 years of experience in IT security management for mission-critical systems. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Proven ability to develop and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity policies. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to the TS/SCI level. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with communication systems and navigation networks. Experience with high-risk infrastructure and critical systems protection. Strong analytical and leadership skills for managing IT security teams and protocols.
