What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Tester-Remote - Security Clearance Required position at ASRC Federal?
ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Tester to support testing services for cybersecurity tools and measures within the DMDC environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing the impact of security tools on the stability and operation of networks and computing systems, while minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth integration into the production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct independent testing of cybersecurity tools and measures to evaluate their impact on DHRA networks and systems.
- Actively participate in product requirement reviews and develop acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for formal testing programs, including test plans, reporting, and documentation.
- Perform testing on updates and changes to cybersecurity tools, ensuring functionality against defined requirements.
- Provide analysis and reporting, including test reports with recommendations (Go / Go with conditions / No Go) to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure testing provisions are integrated into project requirements, designs, and schedules.
- Use automated testing tools to provide in-depth analysis reports and document testing processes.
- Conduct trend reporting and maintain a portal for visualization of testing data and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with CSD to identify trends that impact service availability and submit business process improvement metrics.
- Support project management activities for tool upgrades or deployments, including governance processes and maintaining project plans to DHRA standards.
- Rotational support : Provide 24x7 telephonic engineering support to conduct troubleshooting operations in the event of a network outage.
