ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is actively hiring highly skilled and experienced Endpoint Security Engineer in support of our DCSA program based out of Quantico VA.
This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least two (2) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA. Subject to change based on government direction.
Position Description: As a Cyber Defense Endpoint Protection Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting EDP products across a multi enclave environments. You will be at the forefront of Cyber Security by analyzing, streamlining, and automating operational tasks and processes to protect the organization's endpoint and end user computes systems against adversaries as well as helps build endpoint security systems and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least two (2) days a week. Subject to change based on government direction.
If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least five (5) years implementing and administrating Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
- Active Secret Required and eligibility for TS
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology
- Must meet DoD 8570 requirements by having at minimum one of the following certifications: IASAE I (CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP or IAM II (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP) or IAT II (CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security , CND, SSCP)
- Maintain the current Trellix Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) and spearhead the migration t he development of CrowdStrike solution to include requirements, success criteria, procedures, standards, and guidelines, in collaboration with stakeholders
- Prior involvement with EndPoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Policy Auditor (PA)
- Ensure endpoint compliance for multiple enclaves
- Maintain End Point Detection servers including Microsoft Operating System and SQL Database, using Government supplied hardware and software
- Test, upgrade, and deploy software to the most recent software versions as they are approved and released by the DISA Patch Repository Program including testing as required
- Plan/Develop endpoint security solutions for customer requirements
- Continuously monitor the performance and integrity of the Endpoint Protection solutions
- Create, tune, and maintain security policies to protect customer assets including Antivirus, Data Loss Prevention, Host Based Intrusion Prevention, and firewall policies
- Establish and conduct scheduled STIG and patch compliance scans utilizing government supplied solutions
- Ability to develop dashboards, queries, and reports that automate Cyber Scorecard, Incident Investigations, and applicable DoD/Intelligence Community defined reporting standards
- Possesses understanding and experience with common cybersecurity toolsets and processes to include STIGs, IAVA Management and Implementation, and Operation Orders
- Ability to document and present data to management for compliance and security posture
- General knowledge of endpoint operating systems, endpoint security, and networking
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Review event Logs daily on servers for any known issues
- Run PowerShell scripts to automate system maintenance
- Perform daily and nightly service health checks and conduct server patching
- Research Remedy tickets for any incoming issues to resolve and troubleshoot any known issues with the deployed agent
- Knowledge in Database management is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a high demand environment and have ability to work within a team
