ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer to support the facility operations and maintenance for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in N. Charleston SC.
Description:
Ability to work individually and as a member of a team taking direction form the supervisor.
Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions if needed.
Ability to operate power landscape equipment and hand tools.
Completes various turf maintenance tasks including litter pick-up, weed eating, edging, blowing, grass cutting with zero turn mowers.
Completes various bed maintenance tasks including hedging, trimming pruning, weeding, planting trees shrubs and flowers, cultivating, raking, and mulching.
Remove snow/ice from walkways, spread salt/sand.
Ability to adapt to other duty requirements as assigned.
Requirements:
2 years' experience in grounds maintenance.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam.
Must have a valid SC Driver's License and able to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to follow instructions
Must be able to support scheduled hours of operation
