What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Assurance Analyst II - DoDIN Operations - Security Clearance Required position at ASRC Federal?
ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst II with strong collaboration skills to support in support of one of our Department of Defense (DoD) clients geographically located in Alexandria, Virginia and Seaside, California. This position will support all activities relating to cybersecurity governance and compliance procedures for networks, services and systems. Confers with and advises other section leaders regarding administrative policies, internal controls, and security procedures, resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods. Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordination & Reporting : Support activities related to U.S. Cyber Command (USCC) and Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) directives, providing timely responses and reporting.
o Manage, disseminate, collect, and report Situational Awareness Reports (SAR) from affected programs for the enterprise
o Coordinate collection of artifacts, reference materials and reports from components for submission to compliance portals and USCC / JFHQ repository.
o Following Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) reporting process, acknowledge IAVA or their equivalent releases.
o Ensuring supported assets are complaint with JFHC-DODIN OPORDS, TASKORDs, IAVM notifications and STIG requirements per published compliance dates
o Reviewing compliance activities such as POA&Ms for clarity, sound judgement, and acceptable time frames for remediation
o Cross-train on IAVM, PPSM, and CAP / SNAP / GIAP request reviews to manage, collect, and review data against DISA guidelines to support as needed
