ASRC Federal is seeking a Safety and Mission Assurance Manager – Complex Space Networks. This role is located in the Beltsville, MD area.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and mission assurance plans to ensure compliance with organizational and federal safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to address vulnerabilities in operational and engineering activities.
Oversee compliance with safety standards and protocols, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Manage safety audits, incident investigations, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, addressing challenges proactively.
Provide leadership in managing high-reliability systems, ensuring they meet stringent operational and safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in safety and mission assurance roles for large-scale programs.
Familiarity with federal safety regulations and industry best practices.
Proven ability to manage audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in safety management systems (e.g., CSP or equivalent).
Experience with high-reliability systems in aerospace or defense sectors.
Strong communication skills for fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

This position is offering a pay range of $137,000- $170,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
