Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer  and Certified Great Place to Work™.     We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a USAF contract at Hill AFB, Utah.  The Senior Software Engineer supports Operational Flight Program (OFP) software development and modifications by working with other team members (engineers, equipment specialists, Program Managers, etc.) in an Agile development environment.   Responsibilities Researches, designs, develops, tests, and maintains integrated computer software systems. Provides support utilizing languages such as C, C , ADA and Java. Executes software projects with an understanding of the full software design lifecycle from requirement gathering phase through production phase. Develops, modifies, and maintains software applications for avionics, and support equipment. Works with a range of programming languages, tools, and platforms to ensure software meets operational and performance requirements. Performs testing and debugging to ensure seamless system functionality. Provides guidance to teams in solving complex technical challenges. Assists in the implementation of TOs and technical data Works in a collaborative, Agile Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment   Requirements Education: Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline Experience:10 years of relevant experience Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team. Programming skills in C/C or other languages for embedded microprocessor systems Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile/Scrum environment   Preferred Qualifications Professional experience in software development environment, which may include the following: Python, XML, HTML, Java Script, Perl, ASP, and/or similar scripting languages Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris, VMS, RTOS and/or other operating systems LabView, ADA, C, C , .Net technology, Java, Fortran, Assembly, Jovial, Visual Basic, Python and/or other programming languages.
