ASRC Federal’s Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions.
We are seeking interns who are currently enrolled in programs focused on software development . Work is performed in a collaborative , remote environment . Interns will gain hands-on experience using a variety of technologies in support of our government customers’ missions. This is role is a temporary, remote position.
Work location : Ability to work remote ( must have lived continuously in the continental United States for the past three years ).
Background investigation: Must be a US Citizen with ability to successfully complete a government issued background check.
Program dates: 10-week summer internship, June 2 – August 8, 2025
Hours: 32 hours per week
Summary: Work closely with our software and application development teams on a variety of potential assignments, including, but not limited to, software development, android development, server and/or software configuration.

Education
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Science, or other relevant studies .
- Must be a junior or senior in college at the time of application submittal.
- Software development opportunities include the following technologies:
- Experience with software development languages such as Java, .Net, C , Angular, React, Python, PowerShell, C# And/Or
- Experience with web-based technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS And/Or
- Experience with iOS or Android development And/Or
- Power Platform development (e.g. PowerBI , PowerApps, etc.)
- Ability to build software tests and automated test scripts.
- Ability to document work and present tasking, findings, etc.
- Ability to perform research and analyze data.
- Ability to work independently but also in various collaborative team environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written skills .
- “Can do” positive attitude.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies .
- Experience with software installation and configuration .
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience working in a Cloud environment.
- Experience with building software infrastructure with tools like Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Technical Writing .
