Store Worker

ASRC Federal Communications is seeing a Store Worker I for our ISS2 contact supporting our Air Force customer. This position is located on Wake Island. It’s a rotational position in which the selected employee will work a schedule of 3 months on the island and on month off unpaid, Wake Island is 2,100 miles away from HNL. While working on-site housing is provided in the form of a dormitory facility.  All meals are furnished through the cafeteria. You are responsible for the flight from your home base to HNL.  Transportation to Wake Island is provided by government sponsored aircraft.  This is a negotiated union position.   The Store Worker is responsible for ensuring the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation store and gift shop are maintained. Essential Duties & Job Functions: Responsible for maintaining display sales areas including ensuring merchandise is displayed neatly and damaged or outdated merchandise is removed. Ensures cleaning, replenishing, and maintenance of company store and gift shop. Manages inventory supply system for MWR facilities. Assures proper account of all monies and supplies pertaining to store and gift shop. Keeps records of purchases, orders, and sales for the store and gift shop. Provide customer assistance with location and selection of merchandise when needed. Other related work as assigned. Performs other related work as assigned.   Accountable for: Proper accounting procedures and requisitioning systems. The use of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook.   Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations): Mandatory High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year of experience in a retail environment Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English Ability to successfully pass pre-employment fingerprints, drug test, and background check US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
