Job Summary: K2 Industrial Services is an Industrial Maintenance Contractor. This Position REPORTS to the Assistant Controller and supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, commitment to our community, accountability, and ownership.
Primary responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator include but are not limited to processing accounts payable invoices and ensure accuracy and timeliness of coding and entry of vendor invoices, following up on outstanding balances, answering accounts payable calls, and investigating discrepancies. Other responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with general office/ accounting operations, including but not limited to closing, answering phones, bookkeeping, filing, entering labor hours for payroll, processing notices, and handling vendor questions or complaints.
Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 1 year of Accounting experience required
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred
- Superior oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all levels of management and customers.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power-Point as well as the ability to learn other customized software applications including VISTA, our ERP accounting software.
- Demonstrated ability to respect and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Able to work well independently, self-directed, internally motivated.
- Well-developed team skills, unquestioned integrity
