Job Summary:
Journeyman electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots faulty wiring
- Runs tests on generators and other backup systems
- Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards
- Checks for and deploy upgrades of electrical components
- Facilitates order of needed electrical components
- Install service equipment, wiring, and devices required to install electrical systems
- Evaluate systems accurately for maintenance, warranty repairs, design, and other purposes
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, repair and resolve electrical issues
- Bend and install conduit, pulling & terminating wire, cable, equipment, panels, and various control components and devices
- Adhere, enforce, and monitor in accordance with company standards of installation and quality
- Follow a safety program and attend safety meetings
- Effectively communicate problems to varying managers
- Provide detailed documentation regarding corrective actions and ensure completion of corrective items in a timely manner
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety
Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:
- Five (5) years working in electrical field preferred for Electricians.
- Valid Journeyman's Electrician License preferred.
- High School Degree, GED or Vocational School Graduate.
- Thorough understanding of trade with supervisory skills and knowledge of NEC codes; and
- Valid driver's license is required and a willingness to travel as needed.
