Job Summary: US Coatings is currently seeking a Marine Coatings Blasting and Painting Foreman. This position oversees a crew of sandblasters and marine coatings painters for coatings work on and inside interior tanks on marine vessels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs a sandblasting/painting crew in specialty marine coatings application.
• Ensures that the work of painting crews stays compliant with safety regulations and meet the quality control standards of the company and customer.
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
• Responsible for crews observing all safety rules and regulations. 
• Performs other duties as required.
  
  

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

• 5 years in marine coatings required.
• Must possess extensive knowledge of shipyard operations.
• Must be a proficient communicator and comfortable with training and giving direction.
  
  

Travel:

• Must be willing to travel to different shipyards as projects necessitate.
