Job Summary: US Coatings is currently seeking a Marine Coatings Blasting and Painting Foreman. This position oversees a crew of sandblasters and marine coatings painters for coatings work on and inside interior tanks on marine vessels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs a sandblasting/painting crew in specialty marine coatings application.
- Ensures that the work of painting crews stays compliant with safety regulations and meet the quality control standards of the company and customer.
- Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
- Responsible for crews observing all safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties as required.
- 5 years in marine coatings required.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of shipyard operations.
- Must be a proficient communicator and comfortable with training and giving direction.
- Must be willing to travel to different shipyards as projects necessitate.
