ABOUT THE JOB:
As a Sr. Project Manager, specifically focused within our large projects division, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects throughout targeted areas on the East Coast. This role is a blend of technical, managerial, and compliance responsibilities.
You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role demands expertise and experience in managing large-scale projects within the specialized trade division of coating and painting, as well as general contracting, with project values ranging from $10 million to $100 million.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project success.
- Manage aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, production tracking, cost control and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, including any changes or delays.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the construction process.
- Mitigate risks by proactively identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all project sites.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction.
Earned Value Responsibilities
- Produce contract performance reports.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve anomalies.
- Apply direct and indirect rates to resources and validate cost calculations.
Government Contracting Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with EV guidelines and government policies.
- Assist in preparation and execution of review plans for compliance.
- Conduct Integrated reviews and risk assessments.

In addition to your passion and purpose, to be successful in this Sr. Project Manager role, you will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
- 10 years in the construction industry (Combination of education and work experience acceptable).
- Previous experience as a large projects PM in the construction industry is required.
- Experience with Earned Value and Government Contracting is a MUST.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities to coordinate teams and drive project success.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software for planning, scheduling, and tracking progress. (experience with Viewpoint & MS Project software a plus!)
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances or project requirements.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, priority setting, and decision-making abilities.

Salary : $120,000 - $175,000
