We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating CNC Turret Punch Press programs, reading and interpreting technical blueprints, and performing quality checks on the final product.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Generate CNC Turret Punch Press programs.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints.
- Perform quality checks on the final product.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
You Will Also:
- Enter information provided by Order Entry Department into the manufacturing system.
- Program components for release to production.
- Handle technical inquiries from manufacturing and order entry team.
- Communicate with Lister on discrepancies and/or application conflicts.
- Interpret hardware templates and utilize correct coding macro.
The Skills and Experience You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, preferred.
- Two (2) – five (5) year's experience in CAD/CAM systems, required.
- Previous experience in a metal working shop, preferred.
- Previous experience in commercially available systems, required.
- Demonstrated intermediate-level math skills with a familiarity and proficiency relating to Geometry.
- Excellent computer skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills, and a sense of urgency are required.
