Ceco Door, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to lead our manufacturing operations. As a seasoned professional in manufacturing environments, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency.
This on-site position, based out of our Milan, Tennessee facility, requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify areas for optimization and implement cost-saving initiatives. Your expertise in LEAN concepts, quality systems, and supply chain management will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize plant layouts and improve flow
- Designing and developing efficient manufacturing layouts to maximize capacity and output
- Overseeing the design and purchasing of new machinery, equipment, and tooling areas
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- An Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience leading/participating in LEAN Transformations and Six Sigma certification (Black Belt a plus)
- Familiarity with quality systems, packaging, distribution, manufacturing, welding, supply chain, tooling, and machinery design
