Position Summary:
This position will complete a multi-stage 2 year Apprenticeship to develop the necessary tooling skills to achieve optimal levels of quality, productivity, safety.

Position Summary:
This position will complete a multi-stage 2 year Apprenticeship to develop the necessary tooling skills to achieve optimal levels of quality, productivity, safety.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with Tool grinding Technicians in maintaining cutting tools, broaches, etc.
- Work closely with Tool and Die Makers on the design & fabrication of new products, tooling, gauges, fixtures & machines to support Operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting of production problems relating to Equipment, Process, Tool Geometry, Fixturing, Machine and Tool Alignments, Set-Up Problems, etc.
- Learn to complete functional tools, gauges, fixtures, dies from detailed blueprints.
- Key Machine assembly and production of components.
- Learn Wire EDM processes.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Formal training in Machine Technology or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
- 1-3 years CNC or Manual Machining experience.
- Demonstrated achievements in a production Machining environment.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and implement projects in a timely manner.
- Basic operational knowledge of Saw, Lathe, Bridgeport, and Mill.
