As a Junior Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in processing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing ad hoc financial reports, and assisting with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Essential Functions :
- Supporting the monthly and quarterly financial reporting cycle, ensuring it is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in accordance with GAAP and ASSA ABLOY Accounting Guidelines.
- Preparing, analyzing and posting journals.
- Calculating, posting, and analyzing monthly accruals and prepayments.
- Preparing and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Reviewing and reconciling all inter-company accounts, involving communication with other ASSA ABLOY companies.
- Preparing variance analysis.
- Assisting with or leading other ad hoc projects as required.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- Providing input and assisting with implementation of new and existing processes and systems to ensure efficient delivery of value-add information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Being an effective team player who will drive efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the department.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures
- Expected Office Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM. Evenings and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
