Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Level I, II, and III

What you would be doing:

· Repair maintenance troubleshooting and planned maintenance of all mechanical aspects of plant, office, machinery and equipment.

· Troubleshoots and corrects mechanical or electrical problems on machinery and equipment

· Runs pipe and conduit for air, water, chemicals and wires throughout the building

· Understands and efficiently works on any of the plant primary systems which include electrical, air, water, chill water, gas, steam and wastewater systems

· Performs all planned & preventative maintenance

· Adjusts and repairs clutches, brakes, lubricating systems, drive systems, foam systems, paint systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, cranes, ovens and pumps

· Is capable of building control circuitry for equipment

· Install, secure & level equipment and performs basic electrical work

· Use PLC technology to troubleshoot equipment problems

· Start-up, shut down, operate and maintain plant air compressors, air conditioning, chillers, air dryers, pumps and boilers

· Continually promotes a safe and harmonious working environment, demonstrating strict adherence to the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

Qualifications we are looking for include:

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 1 year of industrial maintenance schooling, preferred

Experience:

· 3-5 years previous industrial maintenance experience, required

Other:

· Ability to troubleshoot PLC problems without assistance Understand mechanical concepts and reason out solutions to problems

· Must be able to work overtime as needed

· Able to read and understand schematics and drawings, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings reason out logical solution to problems and understand verbal instruction

· Able to understand instructions of a complex nature and have a good working knowledge of mechanics and electronics

· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. for approximately 30% of the time

· Able to communicate well

· Thirst for staying abreast of current technologies

· Ability to walk and stand for all of the work shift' possess the mobility to effectively service all equipment and the building
