We’re excited to be adding an Embedded Solution / System Architect to join the Embedded Solutions architect team. This role will work directly with product managers, Releasing Train Engineer, EE, and Firmware Engineers to set up the NPD technical approach, and hold the vision of critical field issue for the state-of-the-art electrical mechanical system. This position will sit onsite full-time New Haven, CT, or Berlin, CT.
What you will be doing
As a key member of the Embedded Solutions Architect team, this role provides comprehensive support for system setup involving hardware, firmware, software, and cloud connection. Collaborating closely with product managers, development engineering team and subject matter experts, this individual will contribute to both NPD and critical field issues for diverse technical challenges.
- Handle escalations from critical field issues by overseeing the Root Cause Analysis (8D) of EM-EAC (Electro-Mechanical- Electronic Access Controls) product, and stress analysis on proposed filed issue solutions
- Provide the trade-off analysis for product managers and transfer the NPD product requirements to engineering specifications.
- Partner with project management and advise on the milestones of NPD products development
- Define the interfaces between the mono discipline modules and transfer the technical approaches to from system level to EE, ME, FW, SW, ATE level.
- Screen new technologies and provide impact analysis to the AEGH engineering team
