Design Engineer
B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design and development of our electromechanical solutions in our Russellville, AL location.
What you will be doing :
The Design Engineer will design, develop and document electromechanical components and systems for roadway products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The core of the work will be accomplished through the creation of detailed 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings based on specifications from engineers and project leads, using SolidWorks. Other responsibilities include developing and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and product specifications.
Using your knowledge of design and maintaining a high level of attention to detail, your work will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and success of our engineering projects.
Qualifications :
Candidates with the following qualifications and experience are well suited for success in this role.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering with 3 years of work experience.
- Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field with 5 years of work experience.
- 8 yrs of equivalent experience can substitute for Education.
