Job Requirements :
Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processesDevelop quality plans for productsDevelop and implement corrective action based on root cause analysisDevelop lean manufacturing procedures, reduce product lean time, promote visual factory environmentPlan, commission and maintain machine and assembly production linesLead quality improvement efforts through training, communication and implementation of new processesManage equipment purchase and installation;Prepare manufacturing documentationCoordinate projectsWork closely with internal and external customers, as well as vendors to resolve issues and provide technical supportKey member of Product Design Team, working with Design Engineers to develop and introduce new productsEstablish and maintain cellular layoutsLead and direct meetings with other team members and hourly associatesKnowledge / Skills :
Manufacturing Engineer with 3-5 years experience preferred. Will consider recent graduates with solid intern experience.BS in Engineering and / or Manufacturing or equivalentLean manufacturing practices ( Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)Experience with Assembly Operations, Metal Machining processes and tool designSPC implementation and practical applicationAbility to think progressively and creatively while keeping the future of the company and its employees in mindExcellent teamwork and collaboration capabilitiesBasic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong Communication skills (written and public speaking)We are the ASSA ABLOY Group
