Job Summary: ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department for the Pedestrian Business Area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT operations, ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives, and managing a significant budget. This role requires extensive experience with ERP systems and a good understanding of IT operations. The Vice President will work with the Divisional teams to implement BSP application strategy.
This is an office-based position in Monroe, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the implementation of Infor LN ERP for the North American business, following the Divisional business Strategy
- Manage and optimize the company's existing ERP systems to support business processes.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and develop strong working partnerships with businesses in a matrix organisation. Ability to operate in a complex matrix organisation.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify and address their IT needs.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and IT infrastructure in general, but specifically in the terms of software licenses, subscriptions, policies, standards and management of budgets
- Ensure information security IT Policies are followed, and support any local statutory requirements
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Work in partnership with the global IT organization.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their potential impact on the company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Manage post-merger IT integration for M&A.
- Ensure good governance, reporting and adherence to company’s IT strategy.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a global organization.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems, including implementation and management.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and BI
- Strong understanding of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cost management and budget responsibility experience.
