Position Summary:

Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and support Team Members working in a high-precision CNC machining environment to ensure products meet the highest standards.
- Partner with Operation Managers, Area Managers, and HR to make informed personnel decisions.
- Foster a positive, employee-centric, work environment. Cultivating teamwork within and among all teams at Medeco.
- Schedule and lead regular team meetings to review progress and business updates.
- Ensure team members are properly trained to perform their work assignments.
- Record, approve, and track time and attendance for Team Members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Operations and Production:
- Collaborate with Operation & Area Managers to ensure a seamless flow of products through the factory.
- Prioritize and advance orders to meet commit/promise dates.
- Ensure Medeco shipments meet and exceed our customers' quality and delivery expectations.
- Achieve planned productivity, and continuous improvement goals.
- Maintain a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to give visibility to factors impacting production.
Continuous Improvement and Development:
- Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvements across the business.
- Support development and implementation of business plans, including budget management and capital plans.
- Co-lead and support design development projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of production management experience preferred.
- Experience operating and managing machines preferred.
- Willing to accept responsibility and accountability for performance.
- Excellent team-building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
