Job Description:
- Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies.
- Understand and have experience in setting-up and operating of CNC horizontal and vertical mills including axis assignment/basic program interpretation and editing.
- Be able to select applicable Fixturing required. Load Fixturing.
- Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gaging.
- Determine the correct print for each part. Read and understand the dimensions and tolerances stated therein.
- Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gauging.
- Using the work instruction & print provided adjust the tooling diameters and depth's to keep the parts within print.
- Follow all ISO procedures.
- Perform all tooling changes and touch-offs as required - including Drills/End mills/Reamers
- Determine the condition of running tools and perform minor qualified tooling changes such as indexable inserts on both CNC lathes and CNC VMCs.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance assignments as required - no instruction.
- Complete accurate and thorough daily quality and production documents.
- Implement and maintain 5S for assigned areas.
- Other duties as assigned and required by the supervisor.
