Warehouse /Driver
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Warehouse /Driver. The Warehouse /Driver is responsible for safely driving a 1-ton truck/48’ trailer to deliver product. Responsible for distributing products promptly from one warehouse to another. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. Thiis position will be on 1st shift. Monday thru Friday, 6am - 2:30pm.
What you will be doing:
- Transport product from ACP warehouse to Ameristar warehouse.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Unload with an overhead crane.
- Operate powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load and unload orders.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Present bills and receipts for goods delivered.
- Turn in receipts received from deliveries.
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and
brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
- Performs other related duties as required.
The skills and experience you need:
- High school diploma
- Certified Class A CDL Driver
- Two years of verifiable experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and MVR.
- Ability to routinely lift, bend, stoop
- Excellent communication skills
This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
