Description Assemblix is now hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Avon / Plainfield, IN area. This position will be working a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday and pay ranges from $20 -$21.75, based on experience. An updated resume and interview is required. We offer the following benefits : Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, Short Term, and Life insurance, and 401K, after 90 days.Responsibilities : Will repair automated equipment and machinery throughout the facility. Electro-mechanical repair, automated conveyor repair and preventative maintenance on machinery, experience required. Ability to work in fast paced environment; must stand for 8 hrs / day; work flexible schedules, cross train and perform multiple functions. Must be able to read, write & understand English; must be able to lift 50 lbs. Overtime may be required, including week-ends. Must be able to diagnose machine failures as well as recognize potential failures of machines and equipment. Ensure that all delegated tasks have been completed in a satisfactory and timely manner. Ensure that all machines are operating properly and safely. Strict adherence to the Preventative Maintenance program that has been put in place Must be able to diagnose and maintain electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Ability to work in a team environment Ability to replace and repair components on malfunctioning machinery and equipment. Exhibit willingness to perform all maintenance and custodial services as needed. Ability to describe machines issues and other departmental needs to other team members and Management orally and written. Maintain accurate inventory of repair parts and components in Maintenance Database. Display leadership and be a motivator to the department. Keep and maintain accurate departmental records they would include but not limited to repairs, inventory, and attendance.Minimum Qualifications : (Education and Work Experience, Computer Skills, Written and Verbal Communication Skills) High School Diploma and relevant work experience. Knowledge of Windows based software. Experience with Microsoft Windows. Ability to operate hand, power and specialized tooling. Must be eligible to work in the United States, pass background, and drug screen.Special Skills : (Language, Physical Demands, Math) Advanced math skills : Such as Machinist's math. Basic Fabrication skills that will include welding. Basic Ability to read prints, schematics and machine and repair manuals. Position Requirements Candidates must have previous experience working facilities maintenance and repair. An updated resume will be required and candidates must pass an interview with the Hiring Manager.Candidates must be able to pass a 7 year criminal background check, E-verify, and a drug screen.
