What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Designer or Drafter position at Assembly Systems?
Interstate Assembly System's is a fast-paced production and design of customer vehicle up-fits and high-quality assemblies built to your precise specification. Our engineering team works directly with our customers on concepts, designs, and product development and we are looking for a CAD Designer or Drafter to add to our team at our New Century Kansas location.
Job Duties :
- Create detailed truck models and layout drawings per customer requirements utilizing SolidWorks CAD software.
- Create / maintain installation drawings utilizing SolidWorks CAD Software
- Create new manufactured assemblies and drawings for fabrication.
- Perform Engineering Change Notices
- Interact with Engineering, Technicians, Parts, Procurement to create / maintain bills of materials in our JDE system.
- Utilize JDE to create part numbers following the proper naming process and data entry requirements.
- Timely execution of responsibilities
