Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, Arizona We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our assembly team as a IMT Truck Manufacturing Assembler Technician. As an IMT Assembler, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of Mechanics Trucks. Pay Range: $19-$28 per hour/paid bi-weekly/based on experience
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday Friday
- Temperature Controlled shop
Shift: 4:30am to 1:00pm
Overtime: Yes
Responsibilities:
- Assemble IMT systems according to established procedures and specifications
- Inspect components for defects or damage, and report any issues to the supervisor
- Test and verify the functionality of assembled IMT systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or process inefficiencies
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and electrical skills and experience preferred
- Prior experience in automotive assembly or a similar manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of assembly techniques
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must have own hand and air tools to perform duties
