Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavior needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and therapists, to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other team members on behavior management strategies
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, caregivers, and other professionals
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices for maintaining accurate records
