Overview:
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances the brand’s presence within the hard money lending industry. This role focuses on building foundational social media initiatives, managing influencer partnerships, and creating targeted content for loan officers. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a robust social media strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and targets key audiences in the hard money lending sector.
- Content Direction: Ideate engaging and informative content tailored to various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, ) that resonates with potential clients and loan officers. This includes developing video content, podcasts, and other creative endeavors to diversify our messaging and engagement.
- Video Production & Podcasting: Collaborate with Digital Media Producer on the production of high-quality video content and podcasts, optimized for social media, to highlight industry insights, client success stories, and more.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media channels, reflecting the company’s values and positioning in the market.
- Engagement and Community Building: Actively engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a sense of community among clients, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives, including events, promotions, and content marketing.
- Loan Officer Support: Develop specific social media campaigns and resources to support loan officers in their outreach and client engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the financial services or lending industry.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools to measure performance and ROI.
