Job Overview:
A Multifamily Onsite Facilities Manager works to ensure maintenance upkeep for the property. The job includes, but is not limited to, monitoring property conditions, identifying potential repairs and maintenance matters, and communicating with other team members concerning every phase of general maintenance. Multifamily Onsite Facilities Manager is a full-time (8a-5p M-F), in-person, salaried position. Travel within the KC Metro will be required.
Duties:
- Guarantee personal punctuality and attendance consistently to build a culture of trust and secure company reputation
- Provide superior interactions with clients and tenants
- Perform maintenance repairs within skill set as they arise
- Interface with tenants on maintenance-related concerns and provide follow up detail to Property Management for invoicing and record-keeping
- Follow the daily schedule provided and work efficiently to maintenance list completion
- Assist Property Management with maintenance supply inventory
- Periodic on-call availability for emergencies and special projects resulting in additional compensation
- Maintain equipment rooms and storage areas in a neat, organized, and secure condition
- Maintain property preparedness by identifying potential problems and alerting Property Management accordingly
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Maintenance experience: 2 years
- Plumbing Experience: Required
- Proficient ability to diagnose and assist with repair of major appliances, sheetrock, general carpentry, gutters, foundation/sidewalk repair, ice/snow removal, and pool care (if required by the property)
- Basic or intermediate ability to diagnose and assist with repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
- Excellent sense of customer service, teamwork, problem solving, teamwork, and multitasking
