Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all properties.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce exposure and insurance premiums.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to negotiate favorable terms and premiums.
- Advise senior leadership on risk management best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and analyze risk trends and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with property managers to implement safety and risk management protocols.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on risk management and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Underwriting experience highly desired.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are a plus.
