Major bank in midtown Manhattan seeks experienced FX-FOREIGN EXCHANGE consultant for hybrid role
Front office team supports an FX desk that manages certain flow foreign exchange transactions for their clients related to trades and hedging for their fund clients. They also support their securities lending desk by running certain checks on a daily basis. Work with FX trading desk and operations desk to manage daily FX transactions. Run and maintain spreadsheets designed to check various customer reports related to securities lending on a daily basis. Amend and adjust reports to correct errors if found
Requirements skilled in Excel formulas needed and some knowledge of VBA a plus. Ability to analyze and check reports. Familiarity with transactional banking including custody, foreign exchange, securities lending, settlement, SWIFT, a plus
