The Job/What You'll Do:
The Senior Digital Product Development Manager is responsible for identifying, building and implementing strategic platform enhancements to AssetMark’s advisor and investor websites. This seasoned professional is a member of a team of other digital product specialists whose mission is to produce the best possible client experience for the advisors we serve and their end-clients. This associate serves as the product owner for AssetMark’s advisor and investor digital client experiences.
The Senior Digital Product Development Manager will use demonstrated product management skills and techniques in the identification, documentation and implementation of features and functionality on our online properties. This person must have a strong understanding of public facing web technologies and their capabilities and limitations, as well as have extensive experience leading projects that involve user interface design, information architecture or 3rd party integrations. This individual will have a proven track-record of successful online product/feature launches that met time and budget targets and delivered expected results.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit and manage detailed business requirements for digital projects that include design wireframes, user experience flows, interactive prototypes, comprehensive use cases and desired functionality
- Define, develop and socialize 1-2 year roadmaps for strategic projects approved by the executive management team and maintain near-term feature/functionality prioritizations for tactical enhancements to existing applications
- Flexibility to manage multiple simultaneous project efforts and make business-driven prioritization decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to create launch and on-going training and communications for both internal and external audiences.
- Work closely with client support and service teams on understanding and prioritizing client feedback and enhancement requests for existing applications and functionality.
- Effectively manage a collaborative partnership with IT to ensure the development, testing and production rollout of each digital product or enhancement stays on track and accomplishes the business need
- Keep current on the UI/UX standards and industry trends.
- Keep current on the latest web and mobile platform standards, industry trends, and competitive offerings to inform our own strategic digital roadmap.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint expertise a must)
- Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and information architecture
- Familiarity with Content Management systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams, especially IT departments
- Team-oriented, high energy, enthusiastic self-starter committed to delivering high quality work in a collaborative environment
Education & Experience:
- 7 years of web/digital/online product management experience in the financial services industry
- 3 years of Wealth Management or Asset Management industry experience
- Experience leading user interface design initiatives
- Experience working in an iterative development environment
- Experience working with remote business partners and development teams
- B.A or B.S
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $145,000-$160,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
