The Job/What You'll Do:
The Trade Operations group is responsible for trading all client accounts for AssetMark and Adhesion Wealth in an accurate and timely manner. The scope of trade operations includes initial investment of accounts, investing additional deposits, raising cash for withdrawal requests, trading for model reallocations, and trading for client requested model changes.
The Trade Operations Manager, Adhesion Trading is accountable for leading the Adhesion Trade Operations team in delivering asset management excellence through accurate and timely trading for all managed accounts. Successful candidate will be a leader who will execute an aggressive people engagement agenda while reducing operational and financial risk. It is essential that the Manager effectively coach, develop, empower, and lead a team of Traders and Analysts to execute and implement the Trade Operations strategy. The role will be based in Phoenix, Charlotte or Chicago and will have a hybrid work schedule of in-office and working from home. If not located in Charlotte, expected travel will be 15-25% for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage team of Traders and Analysts in meeting the needs of financial advisors by processing all client-directed and strategist-driven trading activity accurately and timely
- Accountable for improving accuracy by building operational capabilities that increase transparency, reduce risk, drive productivity, and improve customer experience
- Provide input into team priorities and translates strategy into action
- Manage activities using key metrics and employ strong controllership through clear, frequently maintained, comprehensive procedure documentation
- Improve execution across cross-functional Key Performance Indicators
- Execute an aggressive people agenda to increase employee engagement and accelerate the pace of people development
- Drive to results through continual engagement, follow up, and ensuring follow-through
- Provide expert assistance and dedicated involvement in projects impacting trading
- Maintain strong focus on building new capabilities, particularly those that improve scalability, reduce risk, drive productivity, and improve customer experience
- Independently create vision to inspire and engage across multiple teams including our cultural values
- Be accountable to Operations & Service organization representing Trade Operations and outcomes created by the team
- Demonstrate strong ability to negotiate, collaborate, and compromise, and ability to communicate and influence with senior leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in a variety of roles bringing strong facilitative leadership to projects and processes
- Track record of high accountability, ownership, energy and internal drive to achieve personal, team and organizational goals
- Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, report and communicate data effectively

Education & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in the Financial Securities Industry
- Series 6 is required (we will accept a Series 7 if already held). If you do not possess a minimum of a Series 6 license upon hire, then you will be required to obtain the Series 6 within 90 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $110,000-$145,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
