Job Description:
The Job/What You'll Do:
The VP, Talent Management, leads the company’s talent strategy to drive growth, performance, and employee engagement. This role focuses on learning and development, performance management, diversity, succession planning, and pay-for-performance culture.
This is a full-time position in our Concord, CA office with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- Create strong merit cycles to ensure fairness and alignment with company goals
- Review, develop, and launch a pay-for-performance culture in how we appreciate talent with bonuses and rewards
- Oversee merit cycles to ensure fairness and alignment with company goals
Learning & Development:
- Identify leadership competencies for AMK
- Create development programs to enhance skills and leadership capabilities.
- Promote continuous learning and career growth
- Use technology to offer scalable learning solutions
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB):
- Champion diversity and inclusion efforts in all talent management areas
- Develop strategies for a more inclusive workplace
Onboarding:
- Ensure new hires are integrated into the company culture and prepared for success
- Create an engaging onboarding experience
Data-Driven Decisions:
- Use data and analytics to inform talent strategies and measure effectiveness
- Track key performance metrics to assess impact on business outcomes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in talent management best practices, including compensation strategies
- Excellent communication and data analysis skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP) preferred
- 12 years in talent management or HR, with 5 years in an executive role
- Proven success in leading talent strategies, including performance management, DEIB, and succession planning
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $190,000-$230,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
