Job Description:
The Job/What You'll Do:
As a Sales Consultant Specialist at AssetMark, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team as they build and nurture new client relationships. You will facilitate opportunities to increase productivity by supplementing the efforts of our ensemble teams and engaging with our advisors on various needs as they arise.
The total compensation for this role includes base plus a competitive sales incentive plan target as detailed below.

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between
$45,000-$60,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.

Additionally, this position is eligible for an annualized Sales Incentive Plan target of up to
$30,000. The achievement of the Sales Incentive Plan target will be based on performance to clearly stated goals and metrics.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our office locations in either Chicago or Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary sales point of contact for escalated service-related issues as well as a backup resource when sales team members are unavailable
  • Build relationships with advisors through personalized engagement aimed to help advisors understand platform nuances and identify opportunities for advisors to better engage with AssetMark
  • Proactively communicate with advisors and ask insightful questions to identify additional needs and highlight expanded partnership opportunities
  • Keep up to date with relevant investment information, including platform updates, marketing materials, operational changes, industry news, and market events
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to foster a supportive environment and work independently with self-motivation.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage pipelines and territories effectively
  • Experienced in evaluating managed money platforms and investment solutions
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance field
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Active FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63, and 65 and/or 7 and 66 are required
