Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team and assist in the development and management of product documentation for our fleet software solutions, as well as support SharePoint administration tasks. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software documentation within the context of fleet management while contributing to the organization and optimization of our internal knowledge management system. Job Description: Collaborate with various teams including Product Development, Customer Care, and Professional Services to gather information on possible documentation updates. Create comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our fleet management software, including user manuals, training guides, release notes, and API documentation. Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex fleet management concepts and translate them into accessible and informative documentation for end-users. Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with software updates and enhancements. Support the administration and customization of SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to facilitate efficient document management and collaboration among team members. Provide training and support to team members on best practices for document creation, organization, and retrieval using SharePoint. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint functionality, permissions, and access control. Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes, tools, and templates to enhance overall quality and usability. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Computer Science, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or related field). Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Word for document creation, and familiarity with SharePoint administration. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience with technical writing, documentation, or SharePoint administration is a plus but not required.
