Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and must be in good standing with the BCBA board.
- Master's degree
- Proficient in applied behavior analysis and patient assessment
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with autism
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and manage medical records effectively
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy interventions, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to support children with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Collect and analyze research data to enhance treatment effectiveness and contribute to ongoing professional development in special education practices.
