Assist Services has an opening for a Field Superintendent of our Flagging and Traffic Control divisions to oversee oil and gas and roadway flagging projects throughout the tri-state area of WV, OH, and PA. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and General Manager and will manage the daily operations of the traffic and flagging divisions. The Superintendent will be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the divisions. You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.

Experience/Qualifications:
· Roadway flagging experience with strong knowledge of MUTCD and PUB-213 required
· Oil and gas experience preferred
· 4 years operations/management experience
· Experience managing projects in construction, utility, oil and gas, or industrial environments.
· Experience managing multiple crews/projects at once and a total workforce of 50 employees
Ability to write, understand, and apply Traffic Control Plans in a practical manner
Experience or knowledge with WEX Fuel Cards, When I Work time and attendance system, and custom databases are a plus
Responsibilities:
· Conduct weekly meetings with Supervisors, Crew Leads, or entire crews
· Attend pre-con meetings as needed and communicate information to appropriate team members
· Work closely with Business Development team to project upcoming work needs and relay appropriate personnel needs to the Human Resources department in a timely manner
· Direct, coach, and manage Field Supervisors, Foreman, and Dispatchers to ensure seamless operations and communications across entire organization
· Work with appropriate team members to order or rent needed materials and equipment and ensure proper delivery for project
· Serve as a company representative in various settings as required
· Support the billing and invoicing team with any questions on hours, materials, equipment, etc.
· Approve daily job and time sheets for accuracy
· Communicate expected work schedule and changes with work schedule and customers with Dispatch and Supervisor teams
· Support HR needs such as discipline, onboarding, training, etc.
· Maintain or exceed project deadlines by introducing and implementing methods to maximize efficiency
· Support Assist to meet directly with customers to fulfill the needs of construction/utility projects
· Conduct monthly inventories of equipment and fleet, then coordinate with Fleet Manager for repairs, services, or maintenance issues with dealerships
· Work with Safety team on incident investigations and related corrective actions
· Promoting Assist’s safety culture while performing duties
· Organize and manage multiple crews and operations simultaneously
· Any additional tasks as assigned by management
Required:
· Must have excellent organizational skills, Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Must have good people and communication skills, along with supporting the goals of the business
· Must have TCS training or willing to obtain
· Ability to multitask and delegate responsibilities
· Willing to travel periodically
· Must be able to perform and lead tasks in a quickly changing work environment
· Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUI's or excessive points)
· All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard 10 panel drug screen and fit for duty physical.
