We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient monitoring and home health care. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients’ health and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Support individuals with disabilities, including dignity and respect.
- Escort to appointments as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care or working in a group home setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient monitoring and meal preparation.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not mandatory at the time of application.
